If you could go to any city in the world and live there for a year, where would you go?
I have an affinity for cities that are beautiful at night time. I like cities where you can usually tell where you are from the glow of buildings in the night’s sky. If I were not working, I would definitely be a night person.
Toronto, Moscow, London, Paris and Beijing…. All amazing.
Athens is probably my favorite of them all aesthetically. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to look out over the glow of the city and have a full view of the ocean there, watching boats come and go.
Oh why just one? I would definitely chose Tokyo. I really like how they seem to intentionally use lighting always give a “futuristic” vibe while not completely shunning natural beauty as well. I’m a weirdo. This city is almost exclusively photographed at night, and it’s for a good reason.
I also would chose Tokyo for being an epicenter of anime, manga, food, food, food, food, and foooooooood. The Imperial Palace is there and it’s home to the Japanese Imperial Family which I find very interesting.
I imagine myself resting comfortably under the Sakura a great many o’ hours.
